Pierce College hosted a Student Appreciation Day on May 30 and 31 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a celebration party for the end of the year. Students enjoyed free popcorn, wax hands, free giveaways, and foods.

“Students will have relaxed time after class and it is also the way to celebrate almost the end of spring quarter,” said William Syhlman, ASPCFS Vice-President.

There were different events for both days. On May 30, there was Dance Dance Revolution, a photo booth, free popcorn, and skee ball. Many people played Dance Dance Revolution and competed with other students.

On May 31, there was a free student luncheon and multiple giveaways. The giveaways included Pierce College running caps and tumblers. Students only needed their Student ID to get the items. There were also free airbrush tattoos, and students could choose whatever picture they wanted to put on their face or hand.
